W Hong Kong Soft Opens This August (China)

Soft opening in August, the 393-room W Hong Kong draws on nature’s inspiration to provide guests with the ultimate in city chic escapism. The hotel features designs by Australian firm g+a [nicholas graham + associates] and renowned Japanese design house Glamorous on alternate floors and in individual spaces. Centring on nature’s richness, energy, timelessness and sparkle, arriving guests are confronted by the power of a blazing fire that transforms into a back-lit ‘W’ on a wall made of various textures of earth. The theme continues throughout the hotel, which also features two restaurants and a lounge. The gym and spa, Asia’s first Bliss@Spa, will open in September.
