A festival of culinary delights: - with 60 years of the best of Mövenpick

This year Mövenpick is celebrating its 60th anniversary. From mid-September to mid-December Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is marking the occasion by serving the most popular classics from 60 years of Mövenpick’s culinary history. During the festival weeks the existing culinary choice will be complemented by a specially created menu.

Ueli Prager opened the first Mövenpick Restaurant in Zurich in 1948. In doing so he laid the foundations for the Mövenpick brand, establishing a tradition which has now culminated in 60 years of global corporate success. Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts itself currently has more than 90 hotels in operation or under construction in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Between mid-September and mid-December 2008 guests will have an opportunity to reminisce about the past and enjoy the most popular of the Mövenpick classics, re-interpreted with a contemporary touch. On the menu will be favourites such as tartar and smoked salmon alongside “Zürcher Geschnetzeltes” and “Riz Casimir”. This culinary experience will be rounded off with Mövenpick ice cream and apple cake, not forgetting of course a cup of delicious Mövenpick coffee.
