The new Loews Atlanta Hotel, opening in Spring 2010, has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as the organization’s first member in Atlanta, and third member in Georgia. ALHI provides corporations, associations, and independent planners dedicated national sales services for its 120-plus Four- and Five-Diamond/Star quality member hotels and resorts for meetings, incentive programs, conventions, and exhibitions. Loews Atlanta Hotel joins ALHI’s other Georgia members Chateau Élan Winery & Resort (in Braselton, outside of Atlanta), and Mansion on Forsyth Park (in Savannah).

“The exceptional new Loews Atlanta Hotel is a great city hotel addition to ALHI’s luxury portfolio,” said David Gabri, president and CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels. “ALHI has an incredible variety of luxury-level options for planners coordinating any kind of program in the Southeast. With the addition of the brand new Loews Atlanta Hotel, in Mid-town, we now have an impressive one-of-a-kind hotel with a great location in the always-popular and accessible group destination of Atlanta.”

Slated to open in Spring 2010, the Loews Atlanta Hotel will be the centerpiece of the 12th and Midtown luxury mixed-use development in downtown Atlanta. Offerings at the contemporary Southern-style hotel, which will be Loews’ first hotel in Atlanta, will include 414 luxurious guest rooms, 24,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, spa services, a signature restaurant, and a lobby bar. The hotel is being designed to capture the region’s cultural vibrancy through artwork, artifacts, and music by Southern artists and composers. Conveniently located in Atlanta’s fashionable Midtown district,

Loews Atlanta Hotel will offer easy access to the city's Fortune 500 corporations, and world-renowned cultural and arts venues such as the Woodruff Arts Center, the High Museum and the legendary Fox Theatre. In addition, the 12th and Midtown mixed-use development will feature more than 60,000 square feet of retail space.

With a diverse luxury portfolio of more than 85,000 rooms and suites and 9 million square feet of meeting space, ALHI enables planners to gain professional one-call access to its outstanding member hotels and resorts that specialize in meetings and incentive programs requiring from 10 to more than 5,000 rooms. Member properties include extraordinary meeting and incentive resorts, city hotels, exclusive smaller hotels, golf and destination resorts, historic and landmark properties, island destinations, resorts with spas, and spectacular hotels with world-class gaming and entertainment. There is no cost to planners to utilize the services of ALHI, as its members’ dues fund the organization.
