Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the opening of the new Chesapeake Marriott hotel in Virginia. Crestline manages the 226 guestroom upscale hotel that is located at 725 Woodlake Drive in Chesapeake, and is the headquarter hotel for the Chesapeake Conference Center. The property is a certified Virginia Green Hotel and is a non-smoking property. The Chesapeake Marriott is the city’s only full-service hotel and its features include a concierge level as well as 13 parlor suites and two VIP suites. For social and business events there is 12,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space that can accommodate up to 800 guests.
Guests of the Chesapeake Marriott will enjoy Marriott’s new Revive bed with a down comforter, designer duvet and extra fluffy pillows. In addition, guestrooms are appointed with a 32" LG HDTV with plug-in technology for a laptop, IPOD, gaming station, or cameras. Each guestroom offers high-speed Internet access and a spacious work desk for the business traveler as well as an Executive Business Center. For dining, guests may enjoy casual snacks and Starbuck’s beverages throughout the day and evening at The 5-10-20 café, or full meal service at the hotel’s restaurant, 725 Bistro. The hotel also offers room service and the Bistro Lounge which serves cocktails and snacks.
The Chesapeake Marriott is approximately 9 miles from downtown Norfolk and 12 miles south of the Norfolk International Airport via I-64. It is also 37 miles from the Newport News/Williamsburg Regional Airport. It is in close proximity to area recreational activities including golf and only 15 miles from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
