Two deluxe hotels of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts were singled out by this year’s World Travel Awards in Europe: The Swissôtel Berlin as “Germany’s Leading Business Hotel” and Swissôtel Krasney Holmy for the second year in a row as “Russia’s Leading hotel”. The awards ceremony was held in the city of Poprad in Slovakia by the World Travel Association (WTA).
The World Travel Awards, also referred to as the “Oscars of the travel industry” by the Wall Street Journal, cover the entire travel sector. Results are based on an independent vote by 167’000 travel agents and tourism experts in over 200 countries.
