Properties from Beijing to Turks and Caicos Honored in Readers’Choice Awards

Regent Hotels & Resorts celebrates accolades for its global portfolio in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2008 Readers’ Choice Awards.Readers of the major luxury travel publication ranked The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos, The Regent Esplanade Zagreb, The Regent Berlin, and The Regent Beijing among their top hotels and resorts worldwide.

The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos is included among readers’ Top 10 Atlantic Ocean Resorts. Situated on world-renowned Grace Bay Beach, the 72-suite resort features the Regent Spa, offering indigenous Caribbean treatments including a Mother-of-Pearl exfoliation.

The only Croatian property included on Condé Nast Traveler’s list, The Regent Esplanade Zagreb was ranked among the Top 100 Best Hotels in Southern Europe. A luxury landmark, the 209-guestroom hotel dates back to 1925, when it opened to serve passengers on the legendary Orient Express.

The 195-room Regent Berlin is ranked among Condé Nast Traveler readers’ Top 50 Northern European hotels. The city-center hotel offers Berlin’s only two-star Michelin restaurant, Fischer’s Fritz, and over 2,950 feet of event space, some overlooking Gendarmenmarkt Square.

Readers’ Top 100 Hotels in Asia include The Regent Beijing, a 500-room hotel in the heart of the city’s bustling commercial district. The hotel features authentic Chinese art, architecture and furniture—some reproductions of designs from the Forbidden City—and the award-winning Serenity Spa.

Regent Hotels & Resorts’ global portfolio also includes the recently-opened Regent Bal Harbour and The Regent Grand Hotel Bordeaux, as well as The Grand Formosa Regent Taipei and The Regent Singapore.
