Preferred Hotel Group is pleased to announce its partnership with Tristar Hotels Private Limited and to welcome its first hotel - Svelte Hotel & Personal Suites. The hotel is a member of the Sterling Hotels™ collection of more than 60 hotels with character and inimitable flair known as Sterling Personality.

The 83 luxurious all-suite hotel offers a homey environment with a contemporary feel in the convenient location of Saket, the business and entertainment hub of South Delhi. The hotel is a mere 25-minute drive from the domestic and international airport as well as the city centre. It is walking distance to premier entertainment, nightlife, restaurants, and shopping.

Spacious guest rooms feature leather furnishings and stylish interiors. Facilities in each guest room are complete for both leisure and business travellers, and are perfect for long stays. Each has a kitchenette equipped with a well-stocked refrigerator, microwave oven, hot plate, cookware, and serviceware. An LCD TV and DVD player provides entertainment while a functional workstation with broadband Internet access offers an efficient workspace. Lighting and temperature are electronically controlled. The hotel offers 24-hour room service and chef services on demand as well as a 24-hour business centre. The fitness centre, with massage treatments and rooftop swimming pool, offers relaxation.

"Tristar Hotels recognizes the need for suite accommodations for extended stays in India, and Svelte Hotel is the first in New Delhi to cater to this growing market. We look forward to growing with Tristar in its rapid expansion plans in key business locations," said Ananya Narayan, Area Managing Director, India and Middle East.

"Our plan in the first phase is to open seven more hotels by 2010 across India in Bangalore Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh, Mysore and Dehradun. These cities are witnessing a demand for superior accommodation, especially from IT and BPO companies and business travellers. Offering a wide ranging of marketing tools, booking technology and global network of sales teams, we are confident that the Preferred Hotel Group alliance will provide us with the exposure and sales efforts globally," said George Abraham, CEO, Tristar Hotels.
