The Fairmont Olympic Hotel announces the appointment of Sven-Erik Richter as Director of Operations. Richter brings over 11 years of hotel experience to this role and is charged with leading, directing and overseeing hotel operations, including front office, rooms division, spa and food & beverage. One year later Richter assumed the post of Director of Front office and was awarded Best Director of Front Office in Switzerland in 2006.

The hotel was re-branded from Raffles to Fairmont, and in 2007 Richter was appointed to his most recent role as Director of Operations for Fairmont Le Montreux Palace.
