Thalassa Boutique Hotel and Spa, Cyprus has launched an exclusive spa menu designed especially for mothers-to-be, including a special body wrap that can safely be performed on pregnant women, the first of its kind in Europe. Expectant mothers can now indulge in a range of pampering treatments, safe in the knowledge that all techniques and products are suitable during pregnancy.

The exclusive new menu at Anagenisis Spa offers a range of treatments designed to revitalise and rejuvenate, and bring about a blissful feeling of relaxation. Europe’s first body wrap for pregnant women is a unique treatment by product house Sodashi. The developed technique is different to that of traditional body masks which require the body to be tightly cocooned and are therefore unsuitable for mothers-to-be. The organic Sodashi products do not needing heat to take effect, and can be loosely wrapped on the body. The Refining Body Toner is a warm, comforting body wrap that gives instant nourishment while firming and toning the skin, and is extremely beneficial in the treatment of renewing scar tissue and stretch marks.

Other treatments include the carefully developed Youthful Silhouette bust treatment designed to effectively, yet safely enhance the health and firmness of breast tissue. The décolletage and bust are cleansed with a luxurious body polish, before a gentle massage with a blend of Beurr olive oil, clay and plant essences. The Mother-To-Be massage releases tension from an aching lower back, neck and shoulder muscles for true relaxation, and this pre-natal massage uses techniques tried and tested for their safety and is offered in a seated position or while laying on your side.

During her recent stay at Thalassa, internationally-renowned fertility guru, Zita West experienced Aphrodite’s Secret Facial, a holistic facial designed to deeply soothe the skin and even out skin tone. Zita comments “I think the Aphrodite's Secret Facial is perfect for mothers-to-be. The natural ingredients of organic honey and yoghurt were so refreshing and really helped to re-hydrate my tired skin. In the peaceful setting of Thalassa's spa, the treatment was fabulous... just what expectant mothers need.”

With its sumptuous suites offering stunning coastal views overlooking Coral Bay and a sensational range of signature treatments at Anagenisis, Cyprus’ first holistic spa, Thalassa Boutique Hotel and Spa in Paphos is the perfect destination for a long weekend spa break with contemporary elegance and personal service ensuring the utmost wellbeing of its guests.
