In 60 years Thai hospitality has grown from a fledgling industry to one admired and respected around the world and it was Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui’s vision, determination and commitment that has built Thailand’s most respected hotel name, Dusit International, when she envisioned “Why shouldn’t I be the one to build it.”
2008 marks a truly significant milestone for Dusit International as it embarks on Thanpuying Chanut’s dream to take the Thai flag around the world, with openings in Cairo and Dubai, a joint venture to build 6 hotels in India, as well as 5 more hotels under construction in the UAE, together with a number of other exciting projects soon to be announced. The Thai service best practices are acknowledged as the world’s best and Dusit International has been built on Thanpuying’s vision of great hotels with efficient, gracious and warm Thai service.

In celebration of Dusit International’s founding matriarch, the company introduced the anniversary wine collection from the Thai vineyards of Siam Winery at the 60th Anniversary Commemorative Wine Launch on 20 August 2008 to help raise funds for the prestigious Anadamahidol Foundation for education support. The limited edition of the wine will be available for purchase at Dusit International’s hotels and resorts in Thailand, from now till December 2008.
