Recently, Aqua Bamboo & Spa completed a $2.5 million renovation upgrade of its guest rooms and public areas. Refurbishments and upgrades at the Aqua Bamboo & Spa are
immediately noticeable as they start at the porte cochere where a beautiful and subtle cascading water feature greets arriving guests and sets the tone for their stay at this
stylish hideaway.
Inner Sanctuary
Guests familiar with Aqua Bamboo & Spa will appreciate how the Asian-inspired lobby has been tastefully reappointed with new furnishings and reconfigured to allow for a much
more open feel. As you would expect from its ‘inner sanctuary’ reference, the ambience remains casually elegant and inviting.
The inner sanctuary is also the location of the complimentary 24-hour coffee and tea service. The popular surfboard rack is also available for guest use.
Outer Sanctuary
Although just a short 1.5 blocks to Waikiki Beach, guests love the hotel’s sunny and lush outer sanctuary. The salt-water swimming pool has been upgraded
with new tile and the addition of teak furniture. Earlier this year, the beautiful black-rock waterfall at the
pool’s edge was completed and athatched-roof cabana was added— great for outdoor spa treatments, small outdoor meetings and gatherings.
The outer sanctuary is also where daily complimentary Continentalbreakfast is served and for guests starting their Oahu excursions early, ”Breakfast 2 Go", can be arranged. It is in this peaceful and relaxing outdoor setting where guests will also find the AquaSPA, sauna, jet
spa and barbeque grill.
Guest rooms and suites
The majority of the renovation expenditures were assigned to upgrading the guest rooms and suites at Aqua Bamboo & Spa. Each unit has been completely painted and refurbished to include a new bathroom – vanity, mirror, sink, fixtures, etc. and kitchen appliances – ceramic cook top, microwave,
under counter refrigerator, etc. All units have new AquaBLISS beds with pillow-top mattresses, linens, draperies, tile and case goods.
All new lightening fixtures, dressers, nightstands, small dining tables and chairs have also been installed and rooms feature 32” LCD televisions.
