RIU Hotels & Resorts Launches Advertising Campaign in California (United States)

RIU Hotels & Resorts will launch its first ever television advertising campaign in California on January 11, focusing on their two all-inclusive resorts, RIU Santa Fe and RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The campaign will include television, print and promotions and will illustrate the affordable vacations available at RIU Hotels & Resorts. In the advertising campaign, RIU is offering special rates of $102 per person, per night for stays anytime between January 3rd to January 30th or April 13th to April 30th, 2009. The special rate, a savings of 30%, can be booked through www.riu.com or 1-888-RIU-4990.

The campaign will launch in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Orange County. Television advertisements will run through April 2009 in key markets. Print ads will appear in newspapers and in-flight and consumer magazines.

Both RIU Santa Fe and RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas feature discos, multiple bars including pool bars and sports bars, internet cafes, entertainment, tennis courts, gym, sauna and jaccuzi. Spa services and motorized watersports are available at an additional fee. The 902-room RIU Santa Fe offers specialty restaurants, a children's club, and snacks and beverages are available 24-hours a day. RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas boasts 642 deluxe guestrooms and select suites feature hydro-massage bathtubs and a Jacuzzi on the terrace. Unique amenities at the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas include 24-hour room service, four a la carte restaurants and RIU'S renowned mini-bar featuring full-size bottles of liquor.
