Chic new restaurant ZENSE Gourmet Deck & Lounge Panorama has opened in Bangkok, featuring a giant outdoor terrace overlooking downtown Bangkok and an army of chefs serving four international cuisines from major name restaurants in the city.
Designed to literally 'wow' all senses, the all-in-one 5-star dining destination is on the 17th floor of new entertainment and lifestyle mecca, ZEN World.
With spectacular panoramic views of Bangkok, ZENSE serves the best of the world's favourite four cuisines: Thai, Italian, Japanese and Indian. Also on the menu are scrumptious desserts and pastries, plus a vast selection of premium wines and creative cocktails.
Complimenting the ultimate dining experience are DJs spinning chill-out house music.
The enormous restaurant occupies a total of 4,000 square metres -- half for al afresco dining beneath the stars on Bangkok's sultry tropical evenings. It seats 400 with standing area capacity for more than another 300.
The unique dining concept combines the cuisines of four top Bangkok restaurants: Thai by White Café; Italian by Gianni Ristorante; Japanese by The Kikusui; and Indian by Red.
Design is by one of Thailand’s leading architects, Amata Lhupaiboon, who won the prestigious Siam Architectural Society Award for his masterpiece resort, Sila Evason Hideaway, on Koh Samui.
The 130-million baht concept was developed by the Central Retail Corporation.
ZENSE is the flagship first phase of four levels of rooftop restaurants and bars atop Zen World.
The entire F&B project is called Destiny, inspired by the four elements of earth, water, air and fire.
Zen President, Allan Namchaisiri, said: "ZENSE offers the ultimate 5-star dining and bar experience with a 'wow factor' exciting all senses."
ZENSE operating hours are from 5:30pm to midnight for dinners and drinks.
