Increase of advanced reservations
Against the market tendency, 70% of the reservations on promotion were snapped up more than a month in advance. In this sense, Sol Meliá Vice President of Distribution, Marzban Cooper, said that "Travelling today is cheaper than ever. Our customers increasingly buy more over the Internet and are accustomed to seek out the best flight combinations with hotels on their own account. Not everything is left for the ‘last minute’. Many of them are taking advantage of the chance to organise their Easter and summer holidays.”
