Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa announces the appointment of Ms Agnes Pacis as its Director of Sales & Marketing. Ms Pacis has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and has worked at major hotel chains before joining the Shangri-La group’s hotels in the Philipines, Indonesia, Thailand and Cairns, Australia.
Ms Pacis has been with Shangri-La for almost fifteen years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of the Philippines with a major in Tourism and has attended numerous corporate training workshops.
On her appointment to Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa, Ms Pacis said she was looking forward to working in a new environment and learning about the culture and people of Fiji. “The Fiji experience is only something I have heard about and I look forward to this assignment and learning as much as I can about my new home,” Ms Pacis said.
Ms Pacis replaces Mr Gavin Weightman who has moved to the Shangri-La Hotel in Cairns, Australia.
