The Michelin two-star Shang Palace restaurant at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong presents the Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall set menu, which is available from 15 April to 31 July 2009 for lunch and dinner.

Priced at HK$6,388 per table of 12 persons, the set menu features Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall; Steamed Fresh Giant Pearl Garoupa; Chilled Diced Shrimp with Fresh Fruit in Mayonnaise and Guava Juice; Roasted Whole Suckling Pig; Baked Fresh Salty Chicken; Braised Fresh Mushrooms and Garden Greens with Yunnan Ham; Goose Liver Wonton Noodles in Soup; Braised Fried Rice with Diced Chicken and Dried Octopus in Abalone Sauce; Sweetened Red Bean Cream with Glutinous Dumplings and Steamed Longevity Buns.

The set menu includes 24 glasses of soft drinks, orange juice or local beer and one bottle of Talus Lodi Carbenet Sauvignon. Guests are required to make at least a one-day advanced reservation for this set menu. The price is subject to a 10 per cent service charge. For reservations, please call (852) 2733 8754.

Also known as a tonic dish, Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall is made from only the best ingredients such as shark’s fin, abalone, dried scallop, sea cucumber, fish maw, bamboo fungus, Yunnan ham, chicken and Chinese herbs.
