Once again a survey carried out by Ma’ariv (a leading Israeli daily newspaper) has chosen three of the Dan Hotels as ‘The Best of the Best” in their cities. The choices were made by an inspection of each hotel, together with guest interviews and recommendations from travel agents, convention organizers etc.
The three winning hotels are the King David, Jerusalem, Dan Tel Aviv and Dan Eilat. Ami Hirschstein, President of the Dan Hotels commented today, “Looking at their credentials it is easy to see how the judges arrived at their decision. The Dan Hotels Chain has proved itself time and time again to provide the very best in hospitality and we are proud to have this fact recognized in this way.”
The King David Hotel, Jerusalem, is the chain’s flagship hotel and is known for its history and glamour. A royally luxurious hotel which hosts leaders of the world as well as tourists and families, it is perfectly located within walking distance of both the historical and modern parts of the city. Recent renovations have improved the hotel’s swimming pool and surrounding areas, now housing environmentally friendly plants and floor coverings. The pool (made shallower to conserve water) is heated throughout the winter months and there is also a new fitness center in the hotel with "Techno-Gym" equipment and a new Finnish sauna to help guests relax after their work out.
Dan Tel Aviv beautifully situated on the sea front features a service-level that cannot be met by any other hotel in town! The interiors are a mix of luxurious décor and a modern, contemporary design. The renovated lobby is spectacular with leisure music being played in the mornings and candles lit in the evenings to achieve a classical ambience.
Dan Eilat with its water slides, the decorated lobby, inspired by fairy tales, and the creative 'Danyland' club is a children's paradise. With its inconceivable abundance of gourmet food, available from morning till night, there is also much room for adults in this paradise. The hotel service is courteous and friendly, public domains are neat and clean and the lobby is especially attractive. The swimming pools are heated and there is comfortable access to a large, private and well-equipped beach.
