Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Co., Ltd. announces a Private Lodge Collection managed by U Hotels & Resorts.

Based on market demand trends for exclusivity, privacy and flexibility AHS has announced the Private Lodge Collection managed by its U Hotels & Resorts brand with the launch of Mountain Lodge Khao Yai opening in June 2009.

“The consumer has told us time and time again they desire the privacy of a residence but with service of a top quality hotel or resort, words like exclusive, private, escape and indulgence are continually used. We aim to answer this call with our Private Lodge Collection which will be developed in conjunction with our expansion of the U Hotels and Resorts brand” said Jonathan Wigley.

“With U Khao Yai Resort scheduled to open in the 4th quarter of 2010, Mountain Lodge Khao Yai is basically an annex of the resort which is located in close proximity but servicing a completely different consumer mindset. With Lodge butlers and chefs at the beck and call of the Lodge occupants the service concept is all inclusive of food and selected beverages, basically what the customer wants and when they want it. The entire lodge is offered regardless of the number of occupants so complete privacy is ensured”. Full services and facilities are offered in line with a deluxe hotel or resort operation including pool, gym, internet and activities. Lodges will be popular with social and family gatherings as well as business retreats.”

Mountain Lodge Khao Yai consists of a six room residence which can accompany groups of up to 14 guests and is located atop a mountain overlooking a vast area of forest from both private balconies and public areas. A glass door living room and dining room areas can be converted to a board room for meeting purposes. Other facilities include a large infinity swimming pool with sun loungers, open kitchen so guests can see the culinary activities and a fitness center. The lodge butlers will be on hand to cater to all guests’ needs and also providing concierge services to help guests with any other activities they wish to enjoy in Khao Yai.

Lodges are being developed in Bangkok, Phuket and Kanchanburi as well as in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam together with U Hotels & Resorts.
