Legendary South Florida Resort Joins The Waldorf Astoria Collection™

Hilton Hotels Corporation today announces that the Boca Raton Resort & Club in South Florida has joined The Waldorf Astoria Collection, continuing the luxury brand’s expansion into key leisure markets worldwide.

The Boca Raton Resort & Club is a private, full-service destination resort on 356 landscaped acres in South Florida, complete with a 32-slip marina on the Intracoastal Waterway and one-half mile of private beach on the Atlantic. Halfway between Palm Beach International and Ft. Lauderdale International airports, the resort is easily accessible by plane, car or boat, and offers a wide array of accommodations, recreation and dining options infused with an enduring legacy of warm, genuine hospitality.

Following in the footsteps of Florida additions to the portfolio including the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Southwest Florida, the Boca Raton Resort & Club is the 13th hotel to join the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Collection, as the portfolio continues to expand into key indigenous destinations.

An engaging waterfront village originally envisioned by architect Addison Mizner, the Boca Raton Resort & Club is fresh from $220 million in renovations. The newly renovated 212-room Boca Beach Club on the Atlantic across the Intracoastal Waterway from the main Resort features cabana-style guestrooms with striking ocean views and prime access to three new restaurants, three new outdoor pools with signature lounge areas, new private poolside cabanas and new beach lounges. Four other distinctive types of Resort accommodations amidst lushly landscaped gardens suit every style and mood, from 1920s Mediterranean to modern. Resort guests enjoy the award-wining Spa Palazzo - styled after the Alhambra Palace, daily creative Camp Boca activities for ages 3-12, championship golf and tennis, seven pools, boating and water sports, and dining options from casual to elegant, all without leaving the private Resort village.

Barry Lewin, senior vice president, operations, owned assets for Hilton Hotels Corporation, said: “The Boca Raton Resort & Club is an exciting new addition to the Hilton Family of Brands portfolio, one that combines exceptional service and a legendary facility with extraordinary features and attributes that today’s global traveller comes to expect.”
