Atlanta's business and cultural leaders recently celebrated the completion of The Artmore Hotel's multi-million dollar renovation. The hotel has been thoroughly renovated by Urbana Realty Advisors and Jamestown & Associates with care taken to preserve the hotel's charming design. As Atlanta's newest independent boutique hotel, The Artmore (www.artmorehotel.com) is providing exemplary customer service at an affordable price. It's managed by Boutique Hospitality Management.

Because the hotel is strategically located in the heart of Atlanta's business and arts district, its renovation has been enthusiastically applauded by city leadership.

"It's wonderful to see this beautiful landmark building restored, rather than torn down," said Jo Ann Haden-Miller, director of cultural and heritage marketing for the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Its location makes it ideal for visitors who enjoy the arts, as well as perfect for local residents who want to enjoy a cocktail in the bar or outdoor courtyard," she said.

"The Artmore is not a cookie-cutter chain hotel," said Allan Gutierrez, CEO of Urbana Realty Advisors. "It's like a European boutique hotel with its intriguing interior design, variety of accommodations, personal service and warm, friendly atmosphere."

The Artmore's lobby has been transformed into a high-tech gathering space of wood, stone and metal. Outdoor seating is also offered in the interior courtyard, which has been re-landscaped into a contemporary gathering spot.

"Since The Artmore is such an eclectic building, we played up its charm throughout the public spaces," said Keith Space, president of Boutique Hospitality Management. "We maintained as many of the fine architectural features as possible like archways, columns, porticoes and balustrades. The Artmore is itself a work of art, which is why it's a perfect fit for Atlanta's arts district," he said.

The hotel was built in 1924 as a luxury apartment building with a Spanish-style exterior. It features queen and king-sized guest rooms, executive king suites and extended stay suites, along with a lobby bar, corporate meeting rooms, fitness center and courtyard.

The Artmore is affiliated with WorldHotels as a First Class Collection member. Packages are available for patrons interested in combining tours, exhibits or performances with an overnight stay. The hotel also hosts a number of business meetings in its renovated conference space, and is walking distance from Atlanta's public transportation system, MARTA.
