Great Hotels of the World (http://www.ghotw.com) member, Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve (http://www.ghotw.com/sabi-sabi) in the Kruger National Park, South Africa has opened two new Amani spas at their Earth and Bush Lodges. The new spas, run by Amani African Spas, offer a full range of treatments and therapies in stunning surroundings to safari guests staying at any of their four luxury lodges.
The Amani Spa at Earth lodge mirrors the design of the lodge with treatment rooms built into the earth and natural textures and fabrics used for decoration. The 280 sqm spa has four treatment rooms (including two couple’s suites) a Zen meditation area, outdoor shower, hydrotherapy and Jacuzzi bath, heated pool and juice bar.
The 315 sqm Amani Spa at Bush Lodge offers three treatment suites with beautiful views onto the bush (including a couple’s suite with hydrofacility) an outdoor bath, shower and treatment area.
Both spas offer a complete range of holistic body, skin and beauty rituals, massages and treatments including Royal African potato body balm, African Rungu massage and Essence of Africa body balm. A selection of packages is also offered including a couple’s package. Africology, Essence of Africa products are used in both spas. This unique brand uses indigenous plants and essential oils in its products and is free from artificial preservatives, colouring and fragrances.
