The Middle East wing of Swiss-Belhotel International goes live in the market with 2 new properties and the 3rd soon to follow
June, 2009, the Swiss-Belhotel International group is proud to commence the soft opening of its business hotel Swiss-Belhotel Doha Qatar along side opening a nature’s paradise in Oman, Swiss-Belhotel Resort Masirah Island. Following these 2 diverse openings is another city hotel and the first in Dubai, Gold Swiss-Belhotel Dubai. This will bring the total of five operational hotels and resorts managed under the Middle East wing of Swiss-Belhotel International group.
The two openings take place in the presence of the senior management from the Owning Companies of both the hotels and as well from Swiss-Belhotel International. As this is still the soft phase the plans of a further grand-opening of both the hotels are being planned wherein the key people from the travel and trade industry will be invited.

The Swiss-Belhotel Doha is the group’s first property in Qatar and is the result of a management agreement between Abdullah Al Majid Est. and Swiss-Belhotel International. It’s situated just five minutes from the international airport, and ideally located between the banking district and the old Doha city centre. The 165-room hotel and 78 serviced residences have been designed in a 16 floor twin-tower configuration with one tower dedicated to residential living spaces and the other, hotel rooms, suites and facilities with a luxury shopping mall.
The Swiss-Belhotel Resort Masirah Island is a 4 star deluxe resort located 15 kms off the southeast coast of Oman in the Arabian Peninsula with miles of isolated sandy beaches and known for its wildlife. It hosts all four of Oman’s nesting species of Turtles and is world famous as the house of the largest population of Loggerhead Turtles. The island is magnificently diverse and offers a wide range of nautical sports with excursions in the nearby deserts and hills. An array of restaurants, bars and recreational facilities are ready to welcome its guests to Swiss-Belhotel Resort Masirah Island.
