Initiative Targets Non-Managed Accounts with Enticing Offer
As the global economy continues down an uncertain path, and the once-soaring volume of travel from large corporate customers is becoming much more scarce, The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. has launched the Leading Advantage Business Plus Plan. This new initiative, which targets small non-managed corporate accounts, as well as corporate executives who are not bound to corporate travel policies, is the latest development from the luxury hospitality organization to attract new business to, and for its more than 450 member hotels.
The rate offered via the Leading Advantage Business Plus Plan program is the best available non-restricted rate, inclusive of two additional, value-added amenities. These complimentary amenities, which are pre-determined and vary by hotel, also range in value. Participating Leading Hotels were asked to select one from each of two, amenity category levels created specifically for the program. The first group consists of richer options such as continental breakfast, high-speed internet or wireless account, health club (only if there is typically a charge), or $25 credit for the minbar and/or room service. Consequently, the second, less-robust cluster of offerings includes garment pressing, two cocktails in bar, free parking, or complimentary incoming and outgoing faxes.
A final benefit to companies utilizing the Leading Advantage Business Plus Plan is access to a dedicated Leading Hotels Concierge Desk that can secure dining reservations, airport transfers, sight-seeing excursions, and facilitate the organization of meetings to name a few.
In order to take advantage of this program, companies are required to enroll by completing and submitting an online application, found on www.lhw.com/businessplus. Once registered, individual bookings may be made via Leading Hotels’ reservation and service center, 800.223.6800, or through a secure, password-protected page at www.lhw.com/businessplus. As always, the travel agent community is invited to confirm bookings as well, pending client subscription in the program.
