Gran Casino Los Angeles hosts gala event to mark the opening of its new 5-star, 90-room hotel.
Less than a year has passed since Casinos Austria International (CAI) opened its first casino in Chile on 28 July 2008. Located in the capital of Bio-Bio province, the impressive Gran Casino Los Angeles complex has already become a key attraction in the region, offering guests a choice of 10 gaming tables (4 American Roulette, 2 Poker, 2 Blackjack, 1 Punto y Banca and 1 Mini Craps) and 200 slot machines.
At the end of last week, the Gran Casino Los Angeles complex celebrated the opening of its iconic new five-star hotel with a gala event attended by numerous local and corporate dignitaries and VIPs including Mayor Joel Rosales, Deputy Juan Lobos Krause, CAI Chairman Karl Stoss, Austrian Lotteries Director Bettina Glatz-Kremsner and Casinos Austria Maritime President Alexander Tucek. The 90-room hotel's impressive facilities set new standards for the region: a state-of-the-art conference center for up to 500 delegates, a luxurious ballroom for up to 260 guests and the top-class Restaurante 565 serving the very best in Chilean cuisine. Guests can also relax at the hotel's spacious spa, which features a steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, indoor/outdoor pools and fully equipped gym.
