Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the opening of the new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Formerly the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Surfside, the 144 guestroom select service hotel is located oceanfront at 2607 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach. The property, owned by Weatherly Investment Associates LLC, recently completed a major renovation and transformation to incorporate the standards of the Holiday Inn Express brand.
“We are delighted to reopen this popular hotel with a fresh new look and updated guest services that are appropriate for this beachfront location,” said Dave Durbin, President & CEO Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “We anticipate this new hotel will quickly become a family favorite, particularly during the summer months,” added Durbin.
Guests will enjoy scenic views from the newly redecorated, tropically influenced, oceanfront guest rooms that each feature a private balcony. Amenities include the choice of soft and firm pillow options, luxurious “soft and fluffy” towels, new Simply Smart® Guest Bathrooms with a temperature/pressure regulated Stay Smart® shower head, and a complimentary “Smart Start®” hot breakfast. The hotel offers a wide selection of guest rooms with king and queen bed configurations and some with an additional sofa bed. There are also 17 well appointed suites. All guest rooms and suites feature a refrigerator and weekday delivery of a complimentary USA Today, as well as wireless high speed Internet access. There is also a 24 hour Market complete with snacks and sundries, a Business Center and a heated swimming pool. The Holiday Inn Express Virginia Beach Oceanfront is designated a Virginia Green Hotel. It is smoke free and AAA approved lodging.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront is centrally located and is only two miles from the Virginia Beach Convention Center, three miles from the Virginia Aquarium and Ocean Breeze Water Park, and 20 miles from downtown Norfolk and in close proximity to all of Hampton Road’s military installations.
