Med UK and Ireland managing director Chris Woodbridge-Cox is relocating to Frankfurt to head up the company’s German operations.
Woodbridge-Cox joined Club Med in September 2001 from Virgin. He has also previously worked for ILG and Unijet, and began his career in the travel industry in 1984 with French mobile home specialist, Matthews Holidays.
Commenting on his appointment he said: ‘The UK and German markets continue to hold enormous potential for Club Med and I look forward to the challenge of realising in Germany some of the successes we have enjoyed in this country. The German demand for a high quality product fits perfectly with our own move upmarket.’
Woodbridge-Cox officially takes up his new role in Frankfurt from early April and will continue to be responsible for the UK and Ireland until his successor is named.
