Esperanza, Auberge Resorts’ award-winning property in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, today announced its ranking as the number one spa in Latin America in Travel + Leisure’s 2009 World’s Best Spa Awards, published in the October 2009 issue. This is the second time Esperanza has been ranked number one within the last three years.
Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards are among the most prestigious honors in the spa and travel industry. The voting process involves discriminating travelers judging and rating the world’s most exceptional spas on ambience/décor, body treatments, service and value.

The Spa at Esperanza includes 14 treatment rooms, including a VIP suite with private access and a freestanding hairstyling, manicure and pedicure studio. Drawing on its coastal desert environment, the spa incorporates the elements of water, light, desert and sea. Pampering treatments and exotic therapies use enzyme-rich tropical fruit, rich oils, sea greens, desert minerals and plants and other ingredients indigenous to the Baja Peninsula.
