Customized recipes help guests save and thrive

Residence Inn by Marriott® has teamed up with celebrity chef Brian Duffy of Kildare’s Irish Pub fame to show guests how they can thrive and maintain balance while on the road. Chef Duffy has created delicious recipes specifically designed to be prepared easily in a Residence Inn guest suite kitchen – along with a series of short, high-energy cooking videos – www.youtube.com/residenceinn - that demonstrate how each dish is prepared. The informative videos were all shot on location in a Residence Inn guest suite kitchen using the quality in-room equipment and utensils and minimal ingredients.

During each video, Chef Duffy showcases how Residence Inn guests can establish the kind of patterns that help them maintain a normal routine on the road, utilize the spaciousness of their suites, and energize themselves. To make it even easier for guests to prepare their favorite meals while on the road, Residence Inn offers guests a free grocery delivery service.

"With spacious suites, full kitchens, and free breakfast, Residence Inn provides a tremendous value for both business and leisure travelers," said Katie Tyson, vice president and global brand manager, Residence Inn by Marriott. “We teamed up with Chef Duffy to help our guests to stretch their dollars even more with easy, practical meals they can make in their own Residence Inn guest room – or in any kitchen.”

Designed for stays of five nights or more, each Residence Inn features suites that include a fully-equipped kitchen and separate living area, complimentary high speed internet access, complimentary grocery service, Marriott’s highly acclaimed bed and bath linens and a welcome pet policy - making Residence Inn a great choice for business travelers to extend their weekday stays and for leisure travelers to spend their weekends. Residence Inn provides a moderately-priced, tiered rate structure that enables guests to experience discounted rates for longer stays. With Residence Inn’s “Suite Weekend” deal, Residence Inn guests will receive a $50 Bonus Buck® coupon simply by staying a Friday or Saturday night at participating Residence Inn locations in the United States and Canada now through December 31, 2009.
