Company noted as having the best retention in the industry
Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) has been recognized again by BusinessWeek magazine as one of the "Best Places to Launch a Career." The list highlights companies that excel at offering a superior workplace for entry-level employees. This year, Marriott was recognized for low turnover rate, and according to the publication, Marriott's retention is the best in the industry, with 35 percent of new hires remaining after five years on the job.
"Marriott continues to view its employees as the company's greatest assets, therefore, we strive to come up with innovative ways to attract and retain the very best talent," said David Rodriguez, executive vice president of global human resources. "This honor recognizes Marriott's efforts to provide its employees with the tools and training necessary to develop leadership skills and career growth opportunities."
