Six Senses Resorts & Spas have signed an agreement with Etihad Airways to operate a Six Senses Spa in Etihad’s Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class lounge located in the recently renovated Terminal 4 at London’s Heathrow International Airport. The renowned Six Senses Spa services are a focal point in strengthening Etihad’s world-class premium lounge services.

Six Senses Spas are also located in the recently opened multi-million dollar Etihad Airways Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class lounges at Abu Dhabi International Airport, United Arab Emirates.

Offering the very best in luxury and well-being, first and business class passengers are invited to the Six Senses Spa to revitalise the body and mind and ease travel stress prior to their flights and whilst in transit. Fifteen minute treatments from the holistic spa menu combine Six Senses signature therapies and Asian-inspired treatments. These include foot detox and scalp massage, plus simple and effective take-home advice for travel well-being. Also on offer is a beauty menu and pure pampering that, in the hands of Six Senses’ experienced and dedicated therapists, will refresh guests for their onward journey.

Signature facial treatments include an energising gem-infused massage to invigorate travel-weary complexions so that guests maintain their holiday freshness. Specially designed back and neck realignment therapies focus on improving overall well-being during long journeys, complimenting Etihad’s exceptional premium in-flight seating. Deep yoga movements and massage techniques stimulate energy meridians in the neck, shoulders, back and arms, helping to ease travel tensions and contributing to the journey’s pleasurable experience.

The Etihad Diamond First and Pearl Business Class lounges are for the exclusive use of guests travelling in the premium cabins or by invitation. Advanced reservations are not available due to flight schedule adjustments, so guests should make their treatment reservations directly at the Six Senses Spa reception which is located within the Etihad lounge, on arrival.

The new Six Senses Spa at Etihad’s lounge in T4 at London’s Heathrow Airport is the second Six Senses Spa to be opened in the United Kingdom this year. The Six Senses Spa at Pan Peninsula - near Canary Wharf – opened early in 2009. This brings the total number of Six Senses Spas open or under development worldwide to almost 40.
