Nestled high on the cliff tops of Kamala Bay is Phuket’s hottest new luxury resort and residential development, Paresa. Located on the much sought after ‘Millionaires’ Mile’, Paresa opened its doors on 1 August and is delighted to announce the completion of its highly anticipated spa, offering a range of pampering treatments and therapies.

The Spa by Paresa, built dramatically into the cliffside, features five elegantly designed luxury spa suites boasting uninterrupted views of the sparkling Andaman Sea. Each of the suites is incredibly spacious and some are equipped for two people; air, space and light add to the sensation of luxury and each suite comes with its own bathroom and a private balcony with daybed, several also feature a private steam room. The spa, like the resort, showcases unique architecture and chic contemporary Thai interiors, characterised by clean lines and minimal clutter. Paresa completes its luxury wellbeing offering with a state-of-the-art gym and hair and nail salon to cater to all needs.

Paresa’s Energy Pool, located adjacent to the main infinity pool and shaded by an ancient Banyan tree, is designed to complement spa treatments by recharging and revitalising the body and mind; at the centre of the warm pool is an obelisk of rose quartz crystal which softens negative energy, calms and encourages balance and harmony.

For serious pampering or for those who don’t want to venture too far from the privacy of their room, the Dima Spa Suite offers guests luxurious accommodation with an ‘indoor outdoor’ pool and Jacuzzi bath centred in the swimming pool, combined with private treatment area and its own private steam room.

Treatments are all carried out using delicious products from home-grown brand Panpuri, made with certified organic ingredients and 100% natural scents from pure plant essential oils and extracts. Inimitably Thai signature ingredients include fragrant jasmine, ylang ylang, lemongrass and sumptuous sandalwood to create an unmistakably authentic experience which combined with the latest techniques deliver a luxurious 21st century experience.

The Spa by Paresa is managed by Areewan Tapsorn who joins the team after seven years with the Banyan Tree Spa, Phuket. Tapsorn oversees a hand picked team of accomplished therapists who will deliver treatments and therapies designed to relax, restore and rejuvenate using products and techniques that combine the best from the East and the West. Using a diagnostic approach, therapists will guide guests and enable them to get the best from their spa experience.

Highlights on the menu include the Thai Boran Massage, a classic 2,500 year-old ritual which concentrates on pressure points around the body to stimulate blood circulation and ease muscle tension or The Paresa Senses Massage, designed exclusively for the resort, which combines a number of massage techniques with aromatherapy to lure the body into a state of deep relaxation. The menu also includes scrupulously designed packages to give a destination spa experience in a tranquil environment while overlooking the mesmerising seascape. ‘Heavenly Bliss’ combines an invigorating herbal steam; refreshing lime body scrub; replenishing honey body mask and yoghurt splash, followed by a relaxing massage, facial and a soothing aromatic milk bath to give the whole body a tune-up from head to toe.

In a unique partnership with world class aesthetic centre DC One Med Spa Phuket, Paresa can also arrange for guests to undertake a selection of non-invasive dental and dermatological treatments should they wish to supplement their spa experience.

Offering state-of-the-art equipment and a team of internationally qualified practitioners, DC One Med Spa Phuket is located in the smart Boat Lagoon development a 20 minute drive from the resort. Set in tropical gardens and with an air of discreet luxury, DC One Med Spa consists of three specialised service centres: dentistry at the DC One Dental Clinic, offering some of the world’s finest dental care; dermatology and non-surgical facial procedures at the Face2Face Skin and Aesthetic Centre; and a Paresa wellness spa. The centre offers a full spectrum of cosmetic dentistry and the very latest in skin rejuvenation techniques to enable travellers to undertake enhancements in relaxed surroundings and at their leisure. Integrated wellness and aesthetic packages can be booked at the hotel to ensure guests return home looking and feeling fabulous.
