Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong Presents Festive Cocktails And Mocktails (China)

Tapas Bar, The Lobby Lounge and Café Kool at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong present specially designed festive cocktails and mocktails throughout February 2010.

The Love Potion Number Four is a combination of gin, crème de cassis, orange juice, grenadine and strawberry, garnished with strawberry and orange slice. For a glamorous pink night, guests can immerse in the Pink Fiesta, which blends crème de cacao and grenadine with double cream, and garnished with a white chocolate rim and a strawberry. Decorated with pickled ginger and fresh chilli, the Hot Stuff! is a mix of Absolut Mandarin Vodka and Cointreau, accented with orange juice and perfectly balanced with fresh chilli, pickled ginger and fresh lime.

For a bubbly experience, guests can indulge in the First Kiss, which consists of a blend of raspberry purée and champagne. Guests can also chill out with a glass of Dole Amor, made from a beautiful mix of grappa, fresh grape juice, Galliano and lime juice, and topped with rose petals. Bursting with fruity zest, the Puppy Love is a blend of blueberry, banana and pineapple, which is served in a Martini glass.

To be struck by Cupid’s arrow and fall in love, guests can savour the Cupid, which is a blend of Bacardi rum, Southern Comfort, pineapple juice and cranberry juice, and topped with sprite. For a reviving delight, the Love Fool muddles strawberry and mint leaves, blended with Grenadine rum and sour mix, and furnished with mint leaves.

Tapas Bar is a wine bar where guests can find a wide selection of New World wines and international tapas complemented with harbour views. Guests can choose to enjoy a glass of wine and international tapas in the comfort of the bar or under the stars in the open air. In 2003 and 2004, the U.S. magazine Wine Spectator honoured Tapas Bar with the Award of Excellence. The Lobby Lounge, where guests can watch the world go by against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, and Café Kool serve all-day dining.
