Newest eatery features delectable small plates and intimate atmosphere

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and The Dolce Group present the newest addition to the Las Vegas dining scene: Johnny Smalls. A complete departure from the signature Dolce Group establishments around the country, Johnny Smalls takes a no-hassle approach to dining with no reservations, no sequence of service, no entrees, no problems.

Johnny Smalls offers small plates and big fun with a menu of more than 50 shareable dishes encompassing Spanish tapas, Asian dim sum, Italian antipasti, Mediterranean mezze, Mexican antojitos, classic American starters and zesty original skewers. Chef Scott Minervini spotlights the most delicious flavors on Earth at Johnny Smalls, regardless of origin and cultural boundaries, at a great price point. Prices for these whimsical dishes range from $6-12.

The restaurant’s center bar serves as the ultimate social setting and features an eclectic selection of beers with more than 20 varieties on tap or by the bottle. An expansive cocktail list offers specialty libations such as the Mango Blossom, Chunky Monkey, Gobstopper and Monster Colada. Signature menu items include Hummus Among Us; Tater Tots with potato croquettes, parmesan and truffle oil; Smalls Balls with creamy risotto, short ribs and parmesan fondue; Surf & Turf duo of filet bites, lobster, vanilla butter and mint; Chinese Take Out Flat Bread with Soya Chicken, cashews, chili sauce and scallions; Salad Three Way featuring Caesar, Mediterranean and Southwest; Alligator Bites with Fat Tire Ale batter, Smack Ya Momma Remoulade; Mac & Cheese Daddy Sliders with fried mac & cheese, heirloom tomato, arugula and garlic aioli; Chicken & Waffles; and Grilled PB & J.

Johnny Smalls is the second collaboration between The Dolce Group and the Nightlife Group at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, following the success of Rare 120. It is located near Vanity nightclub on the first floor of the new HRH Tower. Johnny Smalls is open for lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday starting at 11am with dinner Wednesday thru Friday starting at 5pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Because of its convenient location by the new porte cochere and the great price point, Johnny Smalls is destined to be the new go-to spot for locals. Whether a diner is looking for a casual meal before a night out, a dining experience, or a group event, Johnny Smalls will be the ideal location for dining in Las Vegas.
