Timothy Tan has been appointed Regional Director of Sales – South East Asia for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, effective, April 2010.
Timothy’s responsibilities will cover sales activity in the outbound markets of the South East Asian region, primarily Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and India. “We are delighted to welcome Timothy to the team. His appointment will provide a cohesive approach to our regional sales efforts,” said Melanie Foo-Tiplady, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Vice President, Sales and Marketing – Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Timothy Tan was with Carlson Hotels Worldwide, where he held the position of Director of Sales – South East Asia. His previous experience includes Business Development for HPL Hotels & Resorts in Singapore and a Director for Summer Vacations Pte Ltd.
