Las Vegas’ premier LGBT pool party evolves with new name and weekly themed events
In the city that defined daylife, Luxor is breaking the mold for a second year with a scintillating alternative – Temptation Sundays. This LGBT pool party invites all guests to give in to temptation with captivating themes, cool drink specials, hot bodies and even hotter music every Sunday at Luxor’s South Pool.
The best LGBT pool event in Las Vegas for tourists and locals alike, Temptation Sundays is specially tailored for an alternative crowd but welcomes everyone looking for a great day at the pool with fun people and groovy tunes. To welcome guests and keep the party going, J.Son from NakedBoyNews.com and resident DJ Axis host Temptation Sundays every week.
New for the season, Luxor’s Temptation Sundays offers unique themes each week. Poseidon’s Adventure, I Love the 80’s, Glam Sunday, Christmas in July and a special birthday celebration for host J.Son will keep each weekend’s experience fresh and exciting. June 20 will feature The Cowboys of Summer, a wild, wild West event where sexy cowboy-inspired swimwear is encouraged. Guests can have their vintage photo taken in a wild West-decorated cabana, participate in the Sexiest Cowboy contest and enjoy a special appearance by the Las Vegas cast of Naked Boys Singing. The traditional rainbow flag will wave red, white and blue for Happy Birthday USA on July 4. This Independence Day bash will feature a Sexiest Red, White and Blue swimwear contest and a gathering by Body Boyz United, the annual celebration for sexy, masculine and beautiful gay and bi men of color.
Temptation Sundays also will serve as the closing pool party on August 15 for Fabulous Las Vegas, a sizzling, extended weekend celebration where Luxor and its sister resorts roll out the red carpet for the LGBT community. Fabulous’ guests will get to celebrate with a special concert by dance diva Pepper Mashay as she performs her hit song, "Dive into the Pool."
Temptation Sundays occurs every Sunday through Labor Day weekend (September 5), 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Luxor’s South Pool. General admission is $20; Las Vegas locals and Luxor and Excalibur guests receive discounted admission of $10.
