Spa Makeover Completes Three-Year Comprehensive Hotel Transformation

Château Élan Winery & Resort announces the completion of a comprehensive $1.5 million renovation to the Spa at Château Élan, including upgrades to the Spa’s 35 treatment rooms, relaxation areas and customized couples’ rooms. This completes a resort-wide transformation valued at $11 million, including extensive makeovers of all guest rooms and bathrooms, the 25,000 sq. ft. conference center and the L’Auberge and Versailles restaurants.

“This extensive renovation is part of our mission to serve as Atlanta’s premier destination spa and provide the ultimate relaxation experience for large business groups or leisure travelers seeking a fun, refreshing spa getaway,” said Doug Rollins, vice president of sales and marketing at Château Élan. “The widespread improvements will better serve corporate meeting planners and business travelers who want the best possible meeting facilities and a relaxing, elegant stay while away from home.”

Henk Evers, president and CEO of Château Élan Winery & Resort said, “This comprehensive resort makeover is an investment in the future and part of our vision to serve as a landmark leisure destination and conference center. We are personally committed to exceeding our visitors’ expectations by offering the highest quality accommodations and service for all of our guests.”

The designers’ vision for the spa creates a contemporary atmosphere for sophisticated relaxation, incorporating a rich color palette of watery blues and peaceful greens with tranquil glass mosaics and bronzed metals. Design Directions International of Marietta, Ga., led the renovation project.

Custom designed to offer a soothing, romantic experience for couples, new luxurious couples’ experience treatment rooms – a growing trend among upscale spas – were added, featuring massage tables, Jacuzzi tubs and lavish showers. Additional improvements include sumptuous new relaxation areas complete with soft lighting, new carpeting, plush couches and expansive lakeside views.

One of the most luxurious facilities in Georgia, the Spa at Château Élan is a 35,000 sq. ft., full-service European-style spa nestled inside a lakeside mansion. It includes 14 themed overnight guest suites and its own restaurant, Fleur de Lis. Staffed by a team of 95 professionals, the Spa provides an extensive offering of European and specialized body treatments, massage and wellness therapies, hydrotherapy, signature anti-oxidant winery treatments, skin care treatments, nail care, sauna, steam room and more.

New “Spa-rty” Trend

The Spa has introduced a popular offering called the “Spa-rty” – a fun, relaxing spa party for gatherings of friends, family and co-workers. These spa parties are becoming the new rage at the Spa at Château Élan for bridal showers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, girls’ weekends and more. Various packages including Massage, Nails or Facial Spa Parties are available throughout the week. For more information, visit http://www.chateauelan.com/euphoria/spa-party
