Windjammer Landing Updates Villas and Launches Complimentary Rejuvenation Programs

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, a leading luxury, Green Globe certified St. Lucia property, announces the celebration of its 21st birthday with a new villa refurbishment program and a special Forever 21 Caribbean vacation escape. Forever 21 provides a complimentary rejuvenation program for all guests who stay a minimum of five nights from November 1, 2010 through November 20, 2011.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia is refurbishing many of its popular two and three bedroom villas as part of a $500,000 overhaul, with completion being the end of October 2010. The Caribbean resort’s announcement comes just a year on from a separate $700,000+ investment, with which the resort renovated its Anthurium Lily suites, introducing mahogany four-poster beds draped with white cloth, sun decks with a sea view, marble bathrooms and 27 inch plasma televisions in each room.

The new work will see 20 of Windjammer Landing’s villas fully restored to the way they were originally designed by iconic Barbadian architect Ian Morrison. Kitchens will be completely replaced with granite work surfaces and fabrics used throughout will feature rustic, Balinese prints. Bathrooms will feature hand painted Mexican sinks and tiles.

All of the Caribbean resort’s indulgent and spacious 128 villas have covered private terraces and expansive sun decks, plunge pools (majority), air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, living and dining areas with stunning Caribbean sunset views, cable TV and CD and DVD players, and can accommodate between two and eight adults. The villas offer privacy for couples and families alike.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be embarking upon this latest phase in our refurbishment program here in the Caribbean. We received such positive feedback from our new Anthurium Lily suites; we know our refurbished villas will ensure that our guests can continue to enjoy the very best at Windjammer Landing, St. Lucia,” said Anthony Bowen Windjammer Landing managing director.

This latest refurbishment comes at the perfect time for the luxury resort as it celebrates its 21st birthday this November 2010. To celebrate this milestone, the Caribbean resort is offering all guests who stay a minimum of five nights a special Forever 21 vacation escape to help them feel rejuvenated. Each party will also receive Sun Dollars, Windjammer Landing’s exclusive resort credit, which can be redeemed for St. Lucia tours, trips, transfers, room upgrades, food, drinks and more. Sun Dollars, range from $50 to $200 per night based on accommodation selected. Through December 19, 2010, nightly double occupancy suite rates start as low as $134, and villa rates start at $247.

St. Lucia vacationers who book a five night minimum stay at Windjammer Landing can take advantage of the “Forever 21” package, which includes:
• 21 themed spa treatment including a hydrating refresher facial and body scrub (one treatment per person)
• Jammers Sunset Cruise – dance your way into the twilight while sipping a rum punch or a beer
• 21 themed cocktail at Jammer’s Bar for two – an exotic, violet colored cocktail to represent the gemstone Iolite which is synonymous with 21st anniversaries
• Shopping trip to nearby Rodney Bay to spruce up your wardrobe
• 21 themed dinner catered in your accommodation or the choice to have a party with margaritas and martinis for just $21 per person

Windjammer Landing is situated in the North West of the island of St. Lucia, and set into 60 acres of lush, green hillside, which wrap around its private, crescent shaped beach. The Caribbean resort has five a la carte restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisine, three bars, six swimming pools, floodlit tennis courts and the blissful, full service Serenity Spa. Adjacent to the property is the championship St. Lucia Country Club golf course.
