Pumpkin Carving Contest - Friday, October 29, 2010 – 10:00 a.m.
A wide array of creatively crafted or carved pumpkins will be on display in the front lobby. This annual employee pumpkin carving competition is a crowd pleaser, so be sure to stop by the Outrigger Reef on the Beach to vote for your favorite pumpkin.

Hawaii Spooky Tales - Friday, October 29, 2010 – 1:00 p.m.
What’s that noise? Who’s there? Join master storyteller Lopaka Kapanui in the ‘Livingroom’ across from the Front Desk as he recalls some legendary spooky tales about Hawaii. This is a bone chilling experience that will sure to fright and leave you with “chicken skin”.

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach

Halloween Crafts - Wednesday, October 27, 2010 – 10:00 a.m.
Children of all ages are invited to partake in this special Halloween treat. This fun event is FREE and open to the public. Create your very own Halloween ornament to take home.

Pumpkin Carving Display - Thursday and Friday, October 28-29, 2010
Come and enjoy the display of intricately crafted pumpkins as employees of the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach showcase their pumpkin carving talent during this annual contest.

Waikiki Beach Walk ®

Boo -Wop and ‘Ol Skool Festival - Sunday, October 31, 2010 – 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Get ready to boo-gie the night away as Waikiki Beach Walk®, in conjunction with Outrigger Enterprises Group, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and Embassy Suites®-Waikiki Beach Walk®, present the Boo-Wop and ‘Ol Skool Festival featuring non stop entertainment by The Tradewinds, A Touch of Gold, and EightOEight. Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and stick around for a chance to win fantastic dinner certificates from various Waikiki Beach Walk restaurants.

The Tradewinds (5:00 p.m.)
The Tradewinds has impressed audiences at world class venues across Hawaii and the mainland for over eight years. This electrifying group fuses together superb lead vocals, harmonies and stunningly skillful choreography to produce an unforgettable performance. The Tradewinds has a comprehensive and varied repertoire with music drawn from the 50’s through the 90’s. >From disco, funk, jazz, Sinatra, and R&B, this vocal group offers unequaled authenticity.

A Touch of Gold (6:00 p.m.)
A Touch of Gold is known as one of Hawaii's premiere musical groups. Over a decade since they began, A Touch of Gold continues to delight people of all ages, singing classic hits of "Motown," from the 50's up to today, songs that live in our hearts forever. Their soulful harmonic voices will mesmerize you and take you back to those good ol'days.

EightOEight (7:00 p.m.)
EightOEight band members N.J. Gottschalk (Vocalist, Percussionist), Riya Davis (Vocalist), Scott Schafer (Drummer, Musical Director, Vocalist), Tony Trevias (Keyboard, Vocalist), Carl Fidel (Bassist, Vocalist) and Wes Aoki (Guitarist, Vocalist) will wrap up the festivities with their high energy performance. This talented group is sure to get the crowd dancing on their feet.

Valet parking for up to four hours is available for $6.00 at the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk (201 Beachwalk) and the Wyndham Vacation Ownership-Waikiki Beach Walk (227 Lewers Street), with any same-day purchase from any Waikiki Beach Walk merchant.
