The top 4 floors of the hotel are now fully renovated.

The new Tivoli Caffè Oriente has more comfortable decoration.

The opening of the new Hippopotamus restaurant has brought a new perspective to the hotel.

With its privileged location in Parque das Nações, next to Oriente Station, the Tivoli Oriente has surprised guests with a new remodelling project which has brought a new feel to the different areas of the hotel.

“The renovated areas of the Tivoli Oriente and the opening of the Hippopotamus restaurant, together with our location, just 5 minutes from Lisbon Airport, allow the hotel to differentiate from other hotels in Parque das Nações”, stated Fernando Rios, Director of Tivoli Oriente.

New Superior Rooms
The top 4 floors of the hotel have been fully renovated, and the rooms are now thematic and contemporary, and ready to meet the needs of more demanding guests. The blue rooms are decorated in classical materials and shades, while the red rooms have a more vibrant and romantic atmosphere.

The remodelling work included new carpeting, curtains and bed linen as well as new furniture, bed heads, plasma tvs, mini-bars and tea and coffee making facilities for all those who enjoy a fresh espresso or cup of tea. The bathrooms have also gained a new style through the materials used, such as glass and burnt cement. What hasn't changed is the amazing view of the River Tagus, Vasco da Gama Bridge and the eastern side of LIsbon. In total 74 rooms and 6 suites have been renovated.

The public areas of the top 4 floors, as well as the hotel reception also underwent remodelling. Reception is now more spacious and functional, with improved lighting and more comfortable areas for guests.

Tivoli Caffè Oriente
The Tivoli Oriente has also opened a different and renovated area on the first floor – the Tivoli Caffè Oriente. With a view looking on to Oriente Station and conformable decoration in shades of brown and gold, this is now an inviting place to enjoy a coffee with a delicious muffin in the morning, a light lunch or a late afternoon cocktail. A place where privacy and Wifi access make a working meeting more informal.

Open from 09-00 to 01.00, the Tivoli Caffè Oriente also has an area reserved for smoking.

New Restaurant - Hippopotamus
The Hippopotamus restaurant has an informal and relaxed feel with quality dining for fans of superb grilled meat.

Located on the ground floor of the Tivoli Oriente and with direct entry on Avenida D. João II, one of the main streets in Parque das Nações, the Hippopotamus restaurant has a great family atmosphere where kids feel right at home.

It has a wide range of quick and inexpensive meals such as Hippo Fast (meal and drink) for €10.90, Hippo Duo (stater and meal or meal and dessert) for €15.30, and with kids in mind there is also Hippo Kids (meal, dessert and drink) for €6.90.

The opening of the Hippopotamus restaurant at the Tivoli Oriente is the result of a partnership between Tivoli Hotels & Resorts and the Flo Group, a highly regarded French group which has restaurant chains all over the world. This partnership started in 2008 with the opening at the Tivoli Lisboa of the Brasserie Flo, a brand which also belongs to the Flo Group.

The Hippopotamus has taken on an important role at the Tivoli Oriente as the space where the “VIII Colina” Restaurant used to be on the top floor of the hotel, is now reserved for banquets, cocktail parties and special events.
