Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in New Mexico, was named one of the Best Places to Work in New Mexico by the New Mexico Business Weekly, an Albuquerque-based newspaper dedicated to business and industry. The award recognizes the company's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees.
The resort was ranked second in the large company category that honors companies that have 151 or more employees. More than 90 companies nominated in this category. It was recognized for its philosophy of providing authentic hospitality to its associates, guests and owners. In addition, its associates are highly engaged in their careers and jobs, and the hotel provides opportunities for advancement and community partnerships. The resort also offers its employees complimentary lunch in its cafeteria, and provides discounts on golf, spa treatments, restaurants, and other Hyatt properties.
Companies were nominated for the award by their employees who went online to take an anonymous survey. The surveys were scored by Quantum Market Research, an independent market research firm, and presented to the New Mexico Business Weekly.
