ALHI Offering New Specialty Segment Featuring 30 Impressive Entertainment & Gaming Options (United States)

In Las Vegas, this specialty segment includes:

* the renowned AAA Five-Diamond Bellagio, featuring 3,933 rooms, 200,000 square feet of meeting space, 19 dining options, “’O’ by Cirque du Soleil,” and the magnificent ballet of dancing fountains;
* the 3,220-room Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, offering 1.7 million square feet of flexible meeting space, a beachside casino, “Disney’s The Lion King,” and the Mandalay Bay Events Center;
* the sophisticated and newly-designated AAA Five-Diamond Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, elegantly situated with 392 luxurious guest rooms at the forefront of CityCenter in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip;
* the renowned MGM Grand, featuring 5,034 rooms, 600,000 square feet of meeting space, 18 restaurants, 8 bars and clubs, and a 171,000-square-foot casino;

The collection also includes the Moroccan-inspired Loews Lake Las Vegas in nearby Lake Las Vegas, which features 493 guest rooms and suites with sweeping lake and mountain views, and over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

Options in the collection in the Midwest include:

* Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center (Grapevine, Texas), situated on 150 acres overlooking majestic Lake Grapevine, and offering over 1,500 rooms, 400,000 square feet of meeting space, and an upscale onsite nightclub;

In the East, options in the specialty segment include:

* Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center (Nashville, Tennessee), featuring 2,881 guest rooms and suites, 600,000 square feet of meeting space, and access to the world-famous Grand Ole Opry;
* the 1,406-room Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, providing over 400,000 square feet of meeting space, and located just five minutes from the Walt Disney World theme parks in Central Florida;
* the spectacular Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, offering 750 elegant guest rooms and easy access to Universal Orlando’s two theme parks;
* the lush AAA Four-Diamond Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando, providing 85,000 square feet of meeting space, and UNIVERSAL EXPRESS ride access at both Universal Orlando theme parks;

Island options in the collection include:

* Atlantis, The Palm, featuring a stunning beachfront setting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and offering over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as 17 restaurants, bars and lounges.
* and Puerto Rico’s all-suite Gran Melia Golf Resort, nestled on the northeastern coast in Coco Beach, and featuring two golf courses, and a casino.

Additional ALHI Specialty Segments

The launch of this collection follows seven other specialty segments launched by ALHI in 2010. Included among these are: “ALHI Level 5 Collection,” for ALHI’s 18 hotels that have earned the highest and most distinctive recognitions including the prestigious AAA Five-Diamond rating, and/or the esteemed Forbes (Mobil) Five-Star rating; and the “ALHI Big Box 5-50 Solutions Collection,” featuring ALHI’s 26 member hotels and resorts that offer more than 500 rooms, feature over 50,000 square feet of meeting space each, and have at least one 20,000-square-foot ballroom or more.
