Kenner Hotel Provides Convenient Louisiana Gateway Location Within Easy Driving Distance of All New Orleans Area Attractions
DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the addition of the DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans Airport in Kenner, La. Located at the northeast corner of Louis Armstrong International Airport, the full-service hotel is located 12 miles from downtown New Orleans and within minutes of such important convention, business and leisure points of interest as Pontchartrain Center, Treasure Chest Casino, St James Business Park, the Esplanade Shopping and Entertainment District and Norco Refinery.

The DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans Airport will soon embark on a $3 million renovation project that will lead to an array of product, service and design enhancements throughout this 248-room hotel. Guests already can enjoy complimentary, wireless high-speed Internet access in guestrooms and public areas; MP3-compatible alarm clocks and the luxurious Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree linen package in guestrooms; a comprehensive fitness center, and a seasonal, outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. River City Creole Grille serves contemporary Creole/Cajun cuisine breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual, sophisticated setting.
For business meetings and social events, the DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans Airport features 12,000 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 450 guests. The hotel also offers complimentary airport shuttle service and self-parking as well as a high-speed internet access and printing in its self-service business center, available for hotel guests 24 hours a day.
