The award-winning Pinctada Cable Beach Spa Resort is joining the Preferred Boutique portfolio, while [b]Pinctada Kimberley Grande, Kununurra is the newest member of Summit Hotels & Resorts.
Pinctada Cable Beach Spa Resort in Broome offers 72 guestrooms and suites, plus an asymmetrical pool with spa nooks, a cascading water feature, and a 25-meter lap lane. This five-star luxury resort was named Australia's Best Resort-Style Accommodation at the 2010 Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence, and the signature restaurant Selene Brasserie set a new benchmark as Best Country Restaurant of the Year at The West Australian Good Food Guide Awards. The resort is just a five-minute walk to the 22-km Cable Beach, one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
The Pinctada Spa is Australia's only LI'TYA concept spa with an extensive treatment menu based on Australia's native botanicals and Aboriginal wisdom and holistic healing. Specialty sea and earth treatments include the indigenous mother of pearl shell – Pinctada maxima – from the Indian Ocean off Broome's coast, and stones gathered in nearby Kununurra.
