Multi award winning Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji’s, Bebe Spa Sanctuary has confirmed its status as one of Fiji’s leading spa operators taking out the prestigious Spa Design of the Year Award (Oceania) for the second consecutive year.

The award was presented in recognition of Bebe Spa Sanctuary’s superior design and overall ambience at the annual Pevonia Botanica International Spa Awards held in Sydney last Saturday night.

Situated above the resort on a hill known by locals as Heavenly Hill, Bebe Spa, pronounced behmbeh, a Fijian word meaning butterfly, enjoys exceptional views over Outrigger’s coral fringed lagoon, Pacific Ocean and the lush, undulating hills surrounding the resort.

Bebe Spa Therapist, Atisha Reddy was also a finalist in the category of Spa Therapist of the Year (Oceania) in recognition of her outstanding performance and knowledge of the Pevonia Botanica range.

Bebe Spa Sanctuary Manager, Praveena Dewan said she was enormously proud of the achievement and the recognition this award gives to the sanctuary which offers a Fijian spa experience that cannot be matched.

“This award highlights the true uniqueness of our property. The spa’s architectural design concept is based on a traditional Fijian village which also transcends through to the spa menu which focuses on uniting ancient Fijian therapies and beauty rituals with the world renowned effectiveness of Pevonia,” said Dewan.

Bebe Spa was designed to deliver maximum efficiency for therapists and indulgent relaxation for guests. Eight treatment rooms are designed to service multiple functions. The layout includes a pre and post treatment relaxation room, couples’ rooms, private open air balconies and sunken balcony baths.

The Bebe Spa Sanctuary’s modern design appreciates that people relax in different ways. As such, it includes not only a day spa, but the Bure Ni Loloma – House of Love - chapel which holds complimentary yoga and meditation classes and wedding ceremonies and receptions, and Kalokalo Bar, the perfect spot to take in champagne views of a spectacular sunset.

More than 100 guests attended the Pevonia Botanica International Spa Awards, which honour the resorts and spas that stock the elite natural skin care brand, available in only 300 of the world’s most prestigious spas.
