Retreat named ‘Best International Natural and Thermae Spa’ in SPA Traveller Awards
Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort, the award-winning thermal spa in Tuscany, is delighted to announce the addition of another title to its impressive list of accolades after being voted ‘Best International Natural and Thermae Spa’ at the inaugural SPA Traveller Awards 2011. This latest recognition is the seventh international award for the resort in 2011 – and the fourth to have been decided on the basis of readers’ votes.
Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort was also named the world’s best ‘Medical, Thermal & Natural Spa’ in this year’s Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers' Spa Awards; ‘Best for Medical Programs’ in the Spafinder Readers’ Choice Awards; and the third favourite ‘Spa & Wellness Hotel in Europe’ in the American Express Centurion magazine Readers’ Choice Awards.
The resort was also named the best ‘Luxury Mineral Spring Spa’ in the World Luxury Spa Awards 2011; as well as being listed among the world’s top destination spas in the Condé Nast Traveller UK Reader's Travel Awards 2011, and one of the top eight resorts with medical spas in the Spa Magazine awards. The renowned thermal spa was not the only aspect of the resort to gain international recognition, with the resort also being named Italy’s best luxury golf resort in the World Luxury Hotel Awards.
