Le Touessrok recently won two accolades celebrating its quality and its golf course, respectively delivered by The Leading Hotels of The World and Diners Club Magazine. Nestled in one the most exclusive locations in Mauritius, at a boat distance of the famous Ile aux Cerfs and its unique golf course, and the hotel’s private island retreat Ilot Mangénie, Le Touessrok is the flagship of Sun Resorts group of hotels.

The mythical hotel, which celebrated its 33rd anniversary in November 2011, was voted “Regional Winner Middle East, Africa of the Commitment to Quality Award” of The Leading Hotels of The World at the recent annual convention of the luxury hospitality organisation which took place in Amsterdam.

“It is a special honour winning this prize due to the highest score during your hotel inspection. This award only underlines the excellence in hospitality and the outstanding quality you and your staff are providing at Le Touessrok,” commented Mrs. Claudia Roth, Vice President, Europe, Middle East, Africa for The Leading hotels of The World.

The efforts of the team of Le Touessrok have contributed into making an excellent impression on the mystery guests’ inspection team which has assessed Le Touessrok a few months ago,” added Mr. Sjefke Jansen, General Manager of Le Touessrok.

Readers of the renowned Diners Club Magazine elected on their part Le Touessrok as “Golf Resort of the Year 2011”. Diners Club Magazine is the client magazine of Diners Credit Cards and one of the most exclusive and renowned travel & lifestyle magazines in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The magazine is published monthly and has a total circulation of about 80,000. It is interesting to note that in 2010, Le Touessrok won the “Best Spa and Wellness Hotel worldwide” award by Diners Club Magazine.
