The Fairmont Monte Carlo Resort Received Three Prestigious Awards
On January 18th, 2012, in London's iconic Savoy hotel, representatives from successful international hotels were invited to attend a high-profile gala to celebrate the "International Hotel Awards 2011," which was organized in association with Bloomberg Television and Google.
During this event, the Fairmont Monte Carlo resort received three prestigious recognitions: "Best European Hotel 2011," "Best Hotel of Monaco 2011" and "Highly Commanded Spa."
The event is part of the "International Property Awards," and is recognized as a symbol of excellence throughout the industry. Organized in four areas of the world, awards are granted in 13 categories, including "Best Convention Hotel," "Best Airport Hotel," "Best Hotel Marketing" and "Best Hotel Website."
Following 39 criteria, including hotel service and facilities, awards, location, environmental commitment, interior-outdoor design and decoration, and the hotel's marketing and website, the 20-person judging panel established the ranking of all participants. This year's judges included Rebecca Johnson (Bloomberg TV - Hotel Section), James Bacon (Google UK account manager), Mike McNamara (RBS: Royal Bank of Scotland), and David Dalby (RICS: Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors).
As attested by the organizers, "attaining the European Hotel Award is the indisputable evidence that the Fairmont Monte Carlo is capable of beating some exceedingly strong contenders within the keenly competitive European hospitality arena."
