Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Diana Ee-Tan as Managing Director, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Executive Vice President, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Asia Pacific.
In her career in tourism and hospitality spanning more than 17 years, Diana has held senior management positions in both hotel marketing and operations. She has worked in Singapore and the United States and has a wealth of international experience, having directed the preopening of operations of Raffles hotels in Singapore, Cambodia and China, and the re-flagging of Raffles hotels in Europe and the Americas. As Raffles expanded its operations, Diana played a significant role in building its capabilities in sales, distribution, e-commerce, brand development and marketing.

Diana led Raffles to receive the Singapore Marketing Award 2000, The Asia-Pacific Agora Award for Marketing Excellence 2000 and The Strongest Singapore Brand Award 2003 by the International Enterprise Singapore.

Today, as Managing Director, Raffles, Diana has responsibility for the brand strategy of Raffles, the name behind a collection of luxury hotels rated among the very best in the world. Raffles hotels are noted for their residential charm, enchanting experiences and the highest standards of hospitality and service. Concurrently, she heads up the group's Fairmont and Raffles operations in the Asia Pacific.

In May 2006, the hotel portfolios of Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts were combined following the acquisition of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts by Kingdom Hotels International and Colony Capital, transforming the two companies into a single global enterprise with a vision to become the world leaders in the global hospitality industry.

Chris Cahill, President & C.O.O., Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc. said,' We are delighted to have Diana in our group and look forward to her contributions as we expand and grow both our Raffles and Fairmont brands globally.'

Diana holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a major in Economics, from the National University of Singapore.

Diana sits on the Executive Board of the Singapore Hotel Association and on The Marketing Resource Panel of the Singapore National Arts Council.
