Absolute Hotel Service India announces the signing of U Tropicana Resort, Alibag.

Tropicana Resort Alibag owned by Mumbai based Tropicana Leisure Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is currently operational with 12 rooms and will be further developed and renovated before being re-branded as U Tropicana Alibag in December 2012. With an eventual total of 159 Rooms as well as an All Day Dining Restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a Bar, Banqueting facilities, a Spa, Gym and two Swimming Pools, the resort will be spread over 12 acres of land. With the backdrop of beautiful hills, the resort will be built so as to blend into it’s natural surroundings and retain it’s rustic charm and beauty.

Located on the Mapgaon Road, near the village of Chondi, the resort is a fifiteen minute drive from Mandwa Jetty. The resort will have on offer 106 Standard Rooms, 46 Deluxe Rooms, 2 Suites and 5 Deluxe Suites and will be built in phases with 39 Rooms, an All Day Dining Restaurant, a Bar Lounge, a Banquet Hall, a Gym and Swimming Pool, all being ready tentatively by December 2012 under Phase I. Phase II will see 120 more rooms being built along with a Spa, a Speciality Restaurant and 2 more Banquet Halls.

All Guest Room designs will tastefully combine rustic elegance and contemporary conveniences. Inspiring and uncomplicated, the resort will offer U’s unique concept of service including a 24 hour room policy which will allow guests to enjoy their room for 24 hours from arrival, breakfast whenever/wherever, free Wi-Fi, international and local calls at cost, pre-selection of amenities such as pillow, tea, music and soap that guests will be able to select from the online U Choose programme and more.
