New Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central Launches Family Program, Including Customized Activities and Amenities for Memorable Family Vacations
Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central, the largest hotel in Macau and Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ largest hotel globally, is pleased to announce the launch of the Sheraton Family Program, a suite of customized activities, amenities and services tailored especially for families and delivered with Sheraton’s signature warm hospitality. Located in the center of the glittering Cotai strip, Sheraton Macao Hotel, opened in September with great fanfare, is rapidly becoming the focal point of Macau’s transformation into an all-around vacation destination.

Nestled within Macau’s newest and most exciting fully integrated resort, Sands Cotai Central, Sheraton Macao Hotel is the ideal place to gather with friends and family and the perfect starting point for a Macau vacation. The Sheraton family experience begins the moment you walk in the front lobby, where families with children are invited to use the special “kiddies check-in” – a special counter where kids are welcomed with unique souvenirs and activities, including a complimentary drink tumbler and scavenger hunt. While Mom and Dad are checking in, kids can visit the nearby Jungle Fever House and enjoy complimentary cupcakes, popcorn and fruit slushies. After check-in, hop on the Sheraton Buggy, a just-for-kids dune-buggy, for a special kids VIP tour of the ground floor of the hotel.
Special Family Suites
Sheraton Macao Hotel offers Family Suites – a unique category of rooms that have been designed as a home-away-from-home for visiting families. The only hotel in Macau to offer these thoughtful types of rooms, the Family Suites have been designed and appointed to appeal to kids of all ages and their parents. The two-bedroom suites feature a master bedroom for parents, and a kids’ bedroom with a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper double bunk bed, a children’s craft table, small armchair and ottoman, and an entertainment center with a Wii game console and DVD player. The bathroom has children’s bathrobes and bath accessories and toys just for kids. Other amenities available upon request include cribs, strollers, baby chairs, bed guards and more. Turndown time for kids in the Family Suites includes a fun towel origami on the bed along with cookies and milk, the perfect bedtime snack.
The World’s Gathering Place for Families
Sheraton Macao Hotel offers activities for kids at designated times throughout the day all around the hotel. Designed for kids aged 4 to 12 the core of the activities are based around the 4 categories of Sport & Fitness, Arts & Crafts, Pool Fun & Food Fun all with a unique educational experience. From letting the mind run loose on imagination and creativity with our cookie decoration in our Palms Lounge led by our kids ambassadors to Kids Aerobics in the Fitness Center and learning the importance of keeping fit and staying active, we provide a host of exciting treats for our younger guest to enjoy.
On the fourth floor, the Sala pool is the perfect day and night destination for the entire family. A lively outdoor setting, Sala pool offers private cabanas, pool toys, and a delicious menu of Latin favorites for the entire family. Mom and Dad will enjoy fruity cocktails and the kids will love fresh fruit smoothies from Sala café.
The Sala pool is also home to a toddlers play area designed by Comfyland Experience™. Created for children aged 4 to 8, the unique design is composed of 3 “C” shaped sections, each providing a different theme and content split between the Senses Corner, the Music Corner and the Cognitive Corner. They are arrayed in a maze like structure, attracting the child to go through the different corners, and offering a dynamic, mental and physical voyage of investigation and exploration.
Every weekend, parents and their kids can enjoy a poolside family movie night at the Sala pool. Enjoy favourite family movies – like Cars 2, Happy Feet 2 and Wall E – projected on a giant screen while lounging in beanbag chairs and munching on popcorn and sweets.
